Bring a Picnic and Hear The Kinhaven Brass Band “The Ladies of the Green” invite you to picnic on the Weston Green and enjoy a one-hour concert by The Kinhaven Music School Brass Section on Saturday, July 3 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. The renowned Kinhaven Music School in Weston features gifted faculty and student musicians from around the world and offers free concerts at the school on weekends through mid-August. Bring a blanket and picnic or, pick up a sandwich or box lunch, snacks and drinks at any of these Weston eateries: The Weston Marketplace, Weston Village Snack bar at the Weston Village Store, or newly opened Mildred’s Dairy Bar at The Vermont Country Store’s Bryant House. Other events in Weston on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy: tours and demonstrations at the Farrar Mansur House and Grist Mill Museums or see on of the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company’s matinees. The comedy thriller “ 39 Steps” is being presented in the Playhouse and the charming family musical “Seussical” is showing at the Weston Rod and Gun Club, on Route 100 north.
