Farrar-Mansur House and Tavern The Museums of Weston
Visit our 18th Century Farrar-Mansur House Museum filled with authentic local heirlooms. Guided tours are offered at this Museum from 1-5 pm Wednesdays and 1-4 pm Saturdays and Sundays from July 2 (Tavern Day) through Labor Day, and from 1-5 pm on September weekends and the first 2 weekends in October. The exterior features of the Old Mill Museum (water wheel and waterfall, turbines and sawmill) may be visited anytime. Guided tours of the Mill's interior, featuring the grist mill and antique tool collection, will be offered from 1-5 on Wednesdays, 10-4 on Saturdays and 1-4 on Sundays, from July 2 to Labor Day. The Mill will also offer guided tours on September weekends and the first 2 weekends in October. The Weston Cornet Bandwagon may be visited when either Museum is open for tours. Whales In Vermont Gallery Whales In Vermont Gallery
Visit the studio/home/gallery of reknowed whale artist, Wick Ahrens. Wick's gallery exhibits a unique and exquisite collection of animal and wildlife art, featuring over twenty nationally known wildlife artists. Downstairs at the Playhouse Weston Playhouse Theatre Company
Located on the village green, Vermont's oldest professional theatre company presents a summer season of Broadway's favorite plays and musicals. Under the direction of Malcolm Ewen, Tim Fort and Steve Stettler, the Playhouse has expanded its offerings beyond the traditional summer months and created outreach programs that serve Southern Vermont audiences on a year-round basis. Kinhaven is...a summer of playing classical music with people who love nothing better in the beautiful Vermont countryside with an atmosphere of genuine sharing and support. Kinhaven is on a 31-acre campus and has unlimited offerings, musical and recreational, for young people ages 10-19 and adults.
