New Thought Vermont Seeks Community Input

Jan 23, 2019 in News

Weston, VT….For fifteen years, New Thought Vermont, a not-for-profit organization based in Weston, has offered retreats, seminars and other programs and services that support the spiritual needs of those in our region.  In 2018, we completed a year-long strategic planning process, during which we updated our mission:  create opportunities for connection, personal growth, and professional enrichment through creative spirituality and artistic engagement.  As we are actively pursuing an expanded presence in Weston and in the neighboring towns in the region, we would like to share the results of our planning efforts with the community and to hear your input as we consider our next steps.

We will be holding two focus group meetings to share information about new plans for programs and services and to hear your needs and interests, ideas and suggestions about how we can best serve the local communities.  We hope to have participation from a broad base of residents, both full-time and part-time.  These two focus groups will be facilitated by Claire Wheeler, a Montpelier-based consultant who specializes in assisting nonprofits in strategic planning.

You may choose to participate in one of the two meetings that will take place on Friday, February 8th.  The first meeting will be from 10 – 11:30AM at Neighborhood Connections, 5700 Mountain Marketplace in Londonderry (behind the bank and near the post office).   The second meeting will take place from 1:30 — 3PM in the Living Room of the Weston Playhouse (on the town green).  All are welcome.  Please choose the one meeting that best fits your schedule.  There is no cost to attend and snacks will be provided.  For planning purposes, we request a RSVP to 802/384-3845 or to .
